Carrie Chinese Teacher&Chinese HoD

Carrie has a Bachelor's Degree from Bejing Normal university and a Master Degree from Hong Kong University majoring in Education. She has over 6 years teaching expereince in IBDP Chinese A Literature. With Carrie's efforts, her students have achieved excellent academic results in Chinese in the past years.

Annie Physics Teacher&Science HoD

Annie graduated from Nanjing Univsersity with a BS Degree in Physics and got her MS in Space Physics from UMN with full scholarship. She has 10 years of teaching and curricula-development experience in Physics and Mathematics in international schools including IB, AP and Alevel. She is also an experienced coach in physics competitions. Her students received awards including, but not limited to, 36th place globally in Physics Bowl and Top Gold in BPhO.

Keshab Economics Teacher &Group 3 HoD

Keshab is from India and has a Master of Arts (Economics) from Punjab University, India, a Master of Business Management (Education Management) from North-East Frontier University, India, and a Master in Education (Advanced Teaching Degree) from the University of the People, USA. He has more than 17 years of experience teaching at foreign schools in China, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nepal, and India. He is also an IBDP TOK and Economics examiner.

Wendy Economics Teacher &CAS Coordinator

Wendy holds a bachelor's degree in commerce major in managament accounting from Saint Louis University and a Masters in Business Administration as well as a Masters in Management major in educational management from Philippine Christian University. She has more than nine years of teaching experience in Economics, Business Management and Accounting not only in IBDP but IGCSE, A Levels and AP as well. She's an advocate of project-based and problem-based learning. She's also involved in various community projects that aim to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable groups of the society and the environment. She has served as a CAS adviser for more than 5 years.

Goutam Visual Arts Teacher

Goutam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and later on B ED (Bachelor of Education) degree with a major in English and History. During his non stop 29-year Art teaching experience, he had served many prestigious International schools around the world as Head of Faculty/department in China, India, South Africa, and Indonesia, among which he has taught IBDP curriculum since 2007 and was duly trained in Tokyo, Japan. He is DP Visual Arts Examiner since 2008.

Stephen Librarian &EE Coordinator

Prior to working at CWA, Stephen served as the Librarian at a Canadian school in Dalian for 5 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts (History) from Bishop's University in Quebec, as well as a Bachelor of Education and a Master's of Information Studies from the University of Toronto.

Aleks Head of P.E.

Mr. Aleks, Master's degree in Physical Education from Kharkiv Polytechnic University . He has worked in the education field for 12 years and accumulated rich experience in teaching PE. He was a basketball coach for Youth Basketball Development League (YBDL, Shanghai) and soccer coach for Sinobal FC, Hangzhou.

Jake College Counselor

Graduated from Nanjing University with a Bachelor Degree of Philosophy and Columbia University with a Master Degree of Philosophy and Education. Engaged in University Counselling work for 7 years including 3 years in Suzhou High School of Jiangsu Province, familiar with the application process and requirements of overseas colleges and universities. He is good at helping IB students to explore and develop their potential and apply to the most suitable universities.

Laurel College Counselor

Laurel has her master degree in education from University of Purdue . She has rich experience in university counselling for over 10 yeas and has successfully helped students acheive offers from top universities like Cambridge University and Johns Hopkins University.

Jing Psychology Counselor

Jing has a Master’s degree in the Science Department of Applied Psychology and a professional license as the counseling counselor (Taiwan). Working as a motivated counselor, Ms. Lin has more than six years of experience in high school and university. She develops her expertise in individual counseling, mental health promotion, and psychological crisis management.

Mr. Jim Lu English Teacher

Mr Jim Lu possesses a B.A. and Master of Teaching from UWS, and more than 9 years of teaching experience both in the NSW public school system and on an international scale. The professional journey encompasses roles in prestigious institutions, notably at the Nanjing Foreign Language School.
Beyond education, interests in tech, anime, and running contribute to a well-rounded perspective. With a dedication to ongoing growth and innovation, this educator is eager to apply dynamic skills and international experience to shape the future of education.

Ms. Rachel Chen Chinese Teacher

Ms. Chen has master degree from Nanjing Normal University in Chinese Literature. Since coming to her first school in her career, she has embraced the international education and IB philosophy. For the past seven years she has worked as a DP Chinese Teacher in Suzhou’s International school and NAS Nantong. She believes that there is no end to learning and teaching others teaches yourself, and now she is still on her way to explore the course.
She is so glad to be part of CWA family and looking forwards to growing up with all of you here.

Ms. Cathy Zhang TOK & CNC history teacher

Ms. Cathy is from Suzhou and has a master degree from East China University of Political Science and Law in legal translation. For the past 6 years, she has served as a DP coordinator and TOK teacher at Zhangjiagang Liangfeng International School in Suzhou.
When not at work, she enjoys reading, watching films and making coffee art. She also likes spending time on taking photos and videos to record life. In her view, she likes looking for something new and developing interests. Cathy looks forward to joining the CWA community and exploring new things with all staff here.

Ms. Lena Zhang Economics & CNC Politics teacher

Ms. Lena has a Master of Economics from the McGill University, and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Victoria. She has rich experience in teaching AP Economics and Calculus for four years in other International School. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, travelling, and playing switch.
This year she is trying skateboarding and bike riding. She is looking forward to trying new thing with CWA family.

Ms. Pearl Shi Lab Technician

Miss Shi Yuebai (Pearl) comes from Lianyungang, Jiangsu, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Changzhou University. In the year after graduation, the vast majority of her work was related to industrial production, process adjustment, and laboratory management.
During her regular breaks, she prefers listening to music, reading novels, and preparing a delicious meal by herself. She is very honored to join the CWA family and hopes to have an unforgettable time here.

Abby Xie Visual Arts Teacher

Ms. Abby, Master of Fine Arts of Chinese National Academy of Arts, member of Jiangsu Province Young Calligraphers Association, 8 years of visual art teaching experience in international schools, IBO Certificate & American 7+7 Art Language Certificate, her students have won many art awards.

Ms. Melody, Graduated from Kingston University and Hull University in the UK. She has two degrees: one for piano performance and the other one is master of art in music. She is good at concert management and also has over 20 years teaching experience in music.

Mr. Chuck, Master's degree in Biomedicine from the University of Lancaster and Master's degree in Education from the Near East University . He has been working in China as an English and Science teacher for 6 years.

UG Wu Physics & ICT Teacher

Mr. UG , Master's degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and Bachelor's degree in Physics from Arizona State University. He has experience in teaching IGCSE for over 3 years and 1 year working experience in the computer industry in the US.

Hazel Pan Chinese Teacher

Ms.Hazel, Master's degree in Chinese Language from Beijing Normal University, Bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreginer Language from Nanjing University. She has 3 years of Chinese teaching experience in a Shanghai Bilingual school and 2 years working experience in K12 education companies. As a Chinese language teacher, she has taught International students in Nanjing and Beijing. In her class, students are attracted by the topics she gives. She also encourages students to think harder about current issues.

Chaney Chen Math Teacher

Mr. Chaney, Master's degree from Anhui University, he has rich experience in teaching in an international school and bilingual school for 7 years. He has been grade leader for 4 years. He was in charge of the Math competitions in his previous school. He has won an " Excellent Homeroom Teacher" award.

Evan Liu History Teacher

Mr. Evan, Master's degree in World History from Nanjing University , TEM-8, Proficient in German. He has rich experience in teaching history in international schools for 9 Years, he has been the head of humanities department in many international schools.

Olivia Liu Boarding Head & Student Life Support

Ms. Olivia, Master's degree in Banking and Finance from Monash University, and Bachelor's degree in finance from Melbourne University. She has 2 years' experience in English teaching for children.

Ms. Wang Jianying Chinese Teacher

Graduated from Suzhou Normal College majored in Chinese，senior titlein secondary Chinese teaching. She joined Jiangsu province Changshu high school since 2004.
She was working as the secondary deputy director and Chinese HODin Changshu LiantangHigh school. Entitled Changshu Chinese subject leading teacher in 2003.
Students taught by Ms. Wang have achieved great results in Writing competition and lots of them have got A+ in college entrance exam writing test.

Mr. Cai Weiyuan Math Teacher

Graduated from Suzhou university majored in Mathematics.
Former Math HODand experimental class teacher in Jiangsu Province Changshu High school.
Nearly 40 years Math teaching experience.
He has been entitled as Suzhou math subject leading teacher and the university entrance exam expert in Jiangsu province. He was also one of the editors of the magazine $published\; by\; Nanjing\; normal\; university.$

Mr. He Huozhu Math Teacher & Boarding Head

Graduated from Jiangsu Normal university in Mathematics and senior title in secondary Math teaching. He started working in Jiangsu DanyangHigh school since 1994.
Former deputy director in Student life dept and secondary coach for Mathematical Olympiad competition.
He has published 6 articles on Periodicals over provincial level and he is also one of the editor of high school mathematics textbook.

Ms. Li Xiaonan English Teacher & Boarding Head

Master’s degree in English teaching from Shenyang Normal university, intermediate professional title in English teaching.
6 years English teaching experience in public high school. She has taught few rounds of graduating class and students achieved good results in university entrance exam.
She received many awards in teaching skill and excellent class competition, entitled as the teaching expert.
